Roborn was honoured on December 2 at the 2019 Hong Kong Awards for Industries (HKAI) presentation ceremony held at the Hong Kong Science Park. The 2019 Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Technological Achievement highlights the technological achievement of Hong Kong enterprises. It is one of the most highly regarded honours in Hong Kong for technology-based organisations.
Nigeria is becoming the first West African country to try 5G technology. The trial was conducted by the South Africa technology giant MTN in the 5GDemo event where Roborn’s robot was showcased demonstating the 5G technology.
On November 24, 2019, the roborn team met with Taiji Master Li Hui at Cyberport to demonstrate the interaction with AI and pose estimation to facilitate the learning process.
On 20 November 2019, co-founder of Roborn, Mark Mak presented to Mr. Chaucer Leung, Director-General of Communications, Office of the Communications Authority (“OFCA”) at Cyberport about Roborn 5G product milestone and its development plan.
