Roborn won the first prize at the 8th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan
On December 14, the Award Ceremony of the 8th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan was held in Foshan. Roborn survived through fierce competition to become the first prize winner of Advanced Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence Contest in the Competition’s growing enterprise group.
Roborn was honoured on December 2 at the 2019 Hong Kong Awards for Industries (HKAI) presentation ceremony held at the Hong Kong Science Park. The 2019 Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Technological Achievement highlights the technological achievement of Hong Kong enterprises. It is one of the most highly regarded honours in Hong Kong for technology-based organisations.
Nigeria is becoming the first West African country to try 5G technology. The trial was conducted by the South Africa technology giant MTN in the 5GDemo event where Roborn’s robot was showcased demonstating the 5G technology.
On November 24, 2019, the roborn team met with Taiji Master Li Hui at Cyberport to demonstrate the interaction with AI and pose estimation to facilitate the learning process.
