LegCo members visited the office of Roborn to learn about the latest development of robotics products and solutions.

Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) 5G Future Hall was opened on 24 April. As one of the 13 exhibitors, Roborn showcased its self-developed Hong Kong’s first 5G outdoor disinfection robot Sau Wu, to demonstrate the real application of 5G technology in improving public hygiene.

Roborn’s 5G outdoor disinfection Robot Sau Wu is a good example of 5G application. In the show called【數碼港．講數碼 EP05】produced by Cyberport, the host introduced the function and features of Sau Wu.

Mark Mak, co-founder of Roborn, attended a talk show by ViuTV as a guest, and discussed and shared with the host about the popularization of the local robotics industry and the robot design for improving daily practicability in response to market pain points.

ME not only caught the eye of all passers-by and turned into a popular photo-op, but also aroused the public interest in the application of 5G technology.

Roborn recently developed an outdoor disinfection robot called “Sau Wu,” which has been tested at waterfront areas in Western District, Wan Chai, and Tsuen Wan. The initiative was reported by Wen Wei Po.
