Roborn’s core competitiveness and technological capabilities have earned the trust of the government. Our application stood out among over 300 projects, securing funding for the development and production of three outdoor disinfection robots to support community efforts in combating the pandemic and protecting Hong Kong citizens.
The host introduced: “This outdoor disinfection robot, named Sau Wu, was developed by the Roborn team in just four months. Once it detects a QR code on public facilities, it sprays disinfectant for cleaning. The nozzle can adjust its direction and angle. The control center can operate the robot remotely via a 5G signal or set a predefined route. Using artificial intelligence, the robot can also automatically identify target areas.”
Now equipped for its mission, Sau Wu is ready to undertake outdoor cleaning and disinfection tasks, contributing to Hong Kong’s fight against the pandemic!
After the pandemic, Sau Wu will remain at the promenade for children to visit, learn about its features and design, and promote STEM education in Hong Kong.
