Our 5G remote health diagnosis robot “Freedom”, which could achieve real-time 2-way communication and undergo efficient and effective remote clinical service, was showcased at the booth of Hong Kong Productivity Council and introduced to the Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Mr Alfred Sit, by the General Manager of HKPC’s Smart City Division, Dr Lawrence Poon.
Besides, with the features of interacting with the elderly and providing information such as weather, latest event and services of the elderly centre, our AI companion robot DongJai, which was co-created by Roborn and Hong Kong Poly U Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation, was displayed at the booth of Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation. Dong Jai has been placed and accompanied the elderly at Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Fong Shiu Yee Neighbourhood Elderly Centre after the exhibition. It also becomes a new channel for members to receive information that facilitates the communication between the centre and the elderly.
