Roborn Co-founder and CTO Mark Mak was interviewed by Think Hong Kong, and shared Roborn’s 5G Remote Diagnosis Robot Solution which can alleviate the burden of healthcare staff.
The solution is self-developed by Roborn and equipped with a 12x optical zoom PTZ camera. The captured 4K and high-resolution video footage can be transmitted at an instant manner with 5G network, assisting the doctors on remote medical consultation. The solution is also expected to be applied to the remote surgery in the coming future.
Mark hopes that this robotic solution could be put into trial for more different scenarios in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area when the normal traveller clearance between Hong Kong and the Mainland is fully resumed.
