Hong Kong has pledged $2 billion to foster innovation and development of technology in its latest annual budget. Previous investments in the high-tech sector are already bearing fruit. Roborn developed China’s first 5G motion-control humanoid robot in 2018. In the interview, Roborn’s co-foudner and CTO Mark Mak shared that Roborn products have been introduced across the country and to many other nations through the Belt and Road Initiative. Roborn now is developing and providing many practical solutions with an impact on everyday life. Mark is confident that the next-generation humanoid robots will have plenty of room to make a difference.
