Co-organized by Silk Road Economic Development Research Center, Maritime Silk Road Society and One Belt One Road Research Institute of the Hong Kong Chu Hai College, the Belt and Road 10th Anniversary Forum “Brave New World” was held on 14 April in Hong Kong. The Financial Secretary of the HKSAR Mr Paul Chan Mo-po delivered an opening speech; Co-chair of Maritime Silk Road Society, Mrs Regina Ip Lau Suk-yee expressed her gratitude to all participants of the forum on behalf of the organizers and Mr Bernard Charnwut Chan introduced the overseas keynote speakers whilst the Chairman of Silk Road Economic Development Research Center, Mr Joseph Chan Nap-kee delivered closing remarks.
Mark Mak, co-founder of Roborn, was invited to participate in this event as a forum speaker. In the discussion session of the forum, Mark shared his various experiences in devoting to the construction of 5G technology along the Belt and Road. He said that he has witnessed the country uniting other countries to develop a brave new world under the “Belt and Road” plan, and hopes that more people can seize the opportunity and actively integrate into the overall development of the country.
